The following is some autobiographical stuff related (in some way) to this project's genesis and development. Maybe some of it even explains why I am the way that I am.
I'm an entrepreneur of sorts, with various projects at various stages of development. One of my companies, Joint Venture Systems, Inc., provides tech support and ecommerce solutions to entertainment-related companies. Another, newer one has found quite a bit of success in Rock n Roll Teleprompting, which in itself is pretty cool. I work for myself and I like it that way because it affords me the ability to travel, to write, and to work on lots of cool projects, whether they're immediately-profitable or not.

I came up with the idea quite a while ago, but it sort of grew out of the idea that while I know a few girls with tramp stamps, I don't know any tramps. After I quit wondering how I could slut-up my circle of friends (which took awhile), I started wondering why the tramp stamp wasn't living up to its name. I wondered if it was just me, or if it was a ubiquitous thing. I asked around, and most everyone I knew was in the same boat as me - the tattoo just doesn't mean what it's come to imply in their lives either.
So I'm taking to the streets. I want to see real tramp stamps, and talk to the real girls who have them. It's a big world out there and my circle of friends is admittedly insular and small. Maybe in this wide world of ours the trend I'm noticing is a chaste anomaly on an otherwise-slutty bell curve. I doubt it, I don't know. I'm trying not to let my preconceived notions get in the way of the story.
If I had to have a hypothesis for this project (and what good science doesn't have a hypothesis?), it would be this:
"Tramp stamps are the tattoo that everyone thinks that everyone else thinks means 'slut'."
How's that? Good enough, I hope, because that's it.
